Dinner with 12 close friends visiting from around the country. A hightop in the middle of the room accommodated all of us. Beet salad was an outstanding starter. The stuffed chicken breast (feta, spinach, fennel) was superb. I'm a bit of a wine geek so ordered a bottle of Russian River Pinot Nour with which I was familiar. They were out of it but offered a substitute (Oregon). To their credit, the waiter opened it and let me taste. No go - too light. I ordered a different Pinot - out of that too. At this point I said (tongue in cheek), 'Maybe you should tell me what you do have.' I ordered a reasonable Malbec which was fine. Food was satisfactory all around, though waiters/servers seemed mixed up several times. I'm okay recommending this eatery, in spite of the stated issues. Maybe not the best for a large group.

This place was close to our hotel in Chicago, and after checking in, we were pretty hungry! The menu looked good - and they weren't busy - so we stopped in. Bonus is that they have a lobster roll on the menu! That's my husband's favorite! We started with the spinach and artichoke dip and it was so yummy! It comes with pieces of pita bread. I had the shrimp scampi as my main course. Shrimp were large and the dish was flavored nicely. Our server was great - wish I could remember his name! I also noticed that the restaurant ran very smoothly - the busboy was also on point and was always paying attention so when dishes would need to be cleared, he was right there!

After a very long day of walking and touring Chicago, friend and I opted to eat at the Bellwether because it was in our hotel building. With aching feet and exhausted, we were looking for somewhere that would be quick and delicious. The Bellwether has ambiance and good food. Our waiter was a very talkative guy who was efficient and quick. My meal was as boring as you can get. I opted for a Wedge, for those who do not know lettuce, it's a salad wedge with blue cheese, bacon and tomatoes. It is only good if you get sufficient bacon and sufficient blue cheese crumbles. I got a half salad and it was more than I've had at other restaurants who said it was a full salad. Bacon was abundant and blue cheese dressing was well made and delicious. Friend got the Waffles and Chicken sandwich with a generous side of tater tots. (A few crispy tots made their way to my plate.) If the tots were any indication of the sandwich, it had to be delicious. Friend indicated it was. Yes, this place was not on my radar, but I would recommend it just the same. I saw many dishes go by, all looked to be quite good.

One word- fries. Nothing I love better than a heaping pile of fries next to my burger. The cripsy fries worked perfectly with the freshness of the meat on the burger. Prices were typical for Chicago: 15 for an entree, but overall worth the price.

I've been here a decent amount of times and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ambiance is great, there's TVs everywhere to catch all the games, etc. It's always lively and busy. The food and drinks are very good. The wine selection is vast. For appetizers I recommend the Buffalo Spring Rolls. Very unique and tasty. Their gnocchi is also very good and so are their burgers. I recommend the Stella Burger, basically everything you could ever want on a burger with the onion straws, fried egg, and bacon. There's a range of items to try, from salads, to chicken to steaks. Something for everyone!

After our stint at Lucky strike for yelp event ended up here around 12.30 AM for a last drink. Glad the place was not crowded so could get a place at the bar. The Ambience is something that must be definitely mentioned with huge lights that makes the place more vibrant and lively. Pros: ------- Awesome Ambience Quick Service Good Food Right In downtown 10min walk to Navy Pier Whole Foods right in front of it 8 min walk to Magnificent Mile Right Next to AMC Cons: -------- Nothing I could think Of. I think this is an elegant place around here and think you guys must definitely check it out.

Pictures don't do this place justice! They messed up on the flat bread and it tasted like cardboard but since it came out late so they ended up taking it off the bill. Ordered the veggie burger and it was perfect!! The spicy tequila drink was a little gross and I couldn't drink it because the cucumber was too chunky. Highly recommend buffalo egg rolls!! And our server was great, tons of energy and super nice!
